wireless and optical transport network to provide converged voice, data, video
and value-added services, throughout the country.
Reliance Infocomm is looking for technology savvy business managers and
technology professionals with more than 3 years experience with graduate /
postgraduate degree in engineering (electronics / telecommunications /
computer science) and MBA fromreputed university / institute at various
levels for Applications & Solutions division. Fresh engineering
graduates from IITs / RECs and MBAs from reputed universities / institutes may
also apply. The group develops cutting edge 3G wireless data applications for
Consumer and Enterprise customers. Reliance Infocomm is tied up with
world's leading handset manufacturers and top software vendors to provide
superior experience through R-World to the Indian Reliance IndiaMobile
subscribers.
The specific areas of experience and expertise include but are not limited to
those listed below:
Technology Platforms (AS / TP): Experience and Knowledge in:-
-
One or more of mobile device software environments such as device OS,
Micro Java, Stinger, BREW, Palm-OS, Blackberry OS, embedded handset
applications such as multimedia players, device resident PIM software etc.
- Areas of mobile transactions and payments, video servers, video streaming,
content management systems, transcoding systems and IP based messaging
solutions and platforms such as MMS, WAP and SMS in a telecom or telecom
supplier / consultant environment.
- Application Servers (preferably Web Sphere) Portal Servers, LDAP, Packet
Data components of Wireless networks, Telecom Billing and mediation systems
interfacing, Internet and Wireless Security, Middleware performance tuning
etc. in a telecom or telecom supplier / consultant environment.
Application Developers (AS / AD)

Working for a software service organization as Software Architects,
Development Engineers / Managers, Project Managers and Team Leaders.
- Exposure to software technologies in wireless environment will be of
advantage. Web, Portal technology / testing and performance tools from
vendors like Compuware, Rational Rose, Mercury Intensive, emprix and
simulation of high volume loads / technical knowledge of software and
network. Preference will be given to candidates with exposure to Java and
J2ME.
Product / Business Managers (AS / PBM)

Business Managers with technology background who have managed product
life cycle for end-to-end business solutions. Experience with consumer
channels such as information, games, music, video content and messaging
desired, interface with clients (internal / external) to derive product
requirements, document functional specifications and design products for
consumer and enterprises. Identify third party off-the-shelf system
components that can be customized to meet the requirements.
International experience with mobile applications especially in Europe,
Japan, Korea, Singapore and the US would be an additional advantage.

Strong business analysis skill, project management experience, vertical
or horizontal depth of telecom / wireless knowledge and well informed on
technology trends.
Developer Program Management (AS / DPM)

Experience in managing multi-tier software developer programme and set up
development and testing environment conducive to third party developer
community.
- Technology professionals providing technical support in terms of
infrastructure planning, requirement analysis, procurement, deployment and
execution to wireless application developers under Dhirubhai Ambani
Developer Program (www.dadp.com).
User Interface and design and navigation
management (AS/UI)

Create and maintain benchmark navigation rules for Reliance wireless
service, design and maintain Reliance mobile portal, ensure wireless
application. User interfaces comply with defined guidelines. Sound
knowledge of user interface design tools and usability engineering. 2D /
3D animation using 3D studio Max, Flash and Photoshop.

Compensation will be commensurate with level and responsibility of the
assignment and match the best in the Industry. Company follows a Cost to
